Description

3.8 METRES across. The mural was painted in the family tourist park called Miniland in Coonabarabran. The business was sold and the mural became white ant eaten and ended  up in a shed in the Warrumbungle National Park rangers building. The mural was in disrepair for anyone else other than Margaret. In 2021 Margaret brought the mural back to the Artists Shed in Fyshwick ACT and gradually repaired the mural to its former glory. A friend, Les Worthington, helped to build a structure/framework and trimmed some damaged sections.

It took 6 months to paint back in 1987 or so and then some more time to repair it again.

The mural featured in the Australasian Post magazine Dec 24th 1987.
